Dana Norris is the founder and host of Story Club. She once went on a lot of internet dates and she writes about those mistakes for the website Role Reboot. She blogs at dananorris.net, has been published in McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Rumpus, the Tampa Review, and her stories have been featured on WBEZ (91.5 FM) and Vocalo.org (89.5 FM). She performs around Chicago with Mortified, The Paper Machete, The Kates, Essay Fiesta, This Much is True, Write Club, Guts and Glory, and many others.
Dana is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Northwestern University. She loves hosting Story Club and she especially loves it when someone reads for the very first time.
Will Hindmarch is a writer, designer, and producer in Chicago. He produces and co-hosts Story Club South Side. Will’s writing has appeared in Atlanta magazine, Geek Monthly, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency, as well as in games and books like The Thackery T. Lambshead Cabinet of Curiosity. He's a co-founder of Gameplaywright Press and an instructor and speaker at the Shared Worlds writing camps.
Andrew Marikis is a co-host of Story Club South Side, a writer and Chicago-based actor. Onstage he's worked with Seanachai, Lifeline, BoHo, Sideshow and many other theatres, online you can read him at In Our Words Blog and in more intimate environs you'll hear him storytelling at Story Clubs North and South among others. He loves hearing a story that's totally true, and way too crazy to be true; and he harbors a not-so-secret obsession with dinosaurs.
Elle Kammerer is the official intern for Story Club's Summer 2013 season. She attends DePaul University where she is working on a Masters in Writing and Publishing and hopes to finally finish her novel. She spends her free time engulfed in her expansive imagination and eating awesome stories for lunch.
